Situated on the outskirts of Nairobi, the Giraffe Manor is superb for children and those who like contact with animals! Here you will learn about the endangered Rothschild giraffe species while enjoying the chance to feed and stroke these beautiful animals.

Created in 1946, Kenya\'s oldest park is located right next to the Nairobi skyscrapers and is surprisingly rich with over 100 species of mammal. You will find four of the \"Big Five\" animals here; only elephants are missing. An afternoon or morning drive will take you through the entire park with animals and birds galore.

The Animal Orphanage
This orphanage is found at the main entrance to the Nairobi National Park. Home to abandoned or orphaned wildlife, the orphanage is run by the Kenya Wildlife Service. Lion, leopard, warthog, antelope, chimpanzee and otters are just a few of the animals to see; children in particular will enjoy a walk around this area.
